Dr. Harrish Nithianandan

Dr. Harrish Nithianandan is a double board-certified eye physician and surgeon specializing in medical diseases of the retina. His clinical expertise includes extensive experience with intraocular procedures, complex and refractive cataract surgeries, and various laser procedures. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada, a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology, and serves as a staff ophthalmologist at William Osler Health System.

Dr. Nithianandan completed his ophthalmology residency at McGill University, where he served as chief resident and received leadership and highest academic standing awards. He then completed a sub-specialty fellowship in Medical Retina at the prestigious Cole Eye Institute at the Cleveland Clinic, where he managed high volumes of complex retinal conditions and participated in numerous clinical trials involving novel therapeutics.

He has published extensively in the medical literature and presented at national and international scientific conferences. Dr. Nithianandan strives to utilize his specialized expertise to deliver thorough, patient-centred care to optimize outcomes and patient satisfaction.
