Dr. Haroon Ilyas

Dr. Haroon Ilyas is a board-certified ophthalmologist and cornea specialist at Brandon Eye Associates, providing care in Brandon and Sun City Center, Florida. He specializes in advanced cataract surgery, including femtosecond laser-assisted techniques and refractive intraocular lens implants, as well as astigmatism management and LASIK. Dr. Ilyas is dedicated to helping patients achieve their best vision through personalized care.

Dr. Ilyas completed his ophthalmology residency and cornea and refractive surgery fellowship at the University of South Florida College of Medicine. He earned his medical degree at the Medical College of Pennsylvania/Hahnemann University School of Medicine and graduated with honors from Franklin and Marshall University. He is a staff physician at the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Florida Society of Ophthalmology, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. He has been recognized with the Patients Choice Award and Compassionate Doctor Recognition.
