About Me
Dr. Guy Angella is a board-certified ophthalmologist with fellowship training in glaucoma. He offers modern cataract surgery using small incisions, non-invasive anesthesia, and advanced techniques such as astigmatism correction and the use of astigmatism-correcting and multifocal lens implants to reduce dependence on eyeglasses after surgery. Additionally, his practice focuses on the treatment of glaucoma, a condition that commonly affects middle-aged and elderly individuals.
Dr. Angella completed his undergraduate degree at Boston College, graduating magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, and earned his medical degree with honors from the University of Florida College of Medicine. He completed his ophthalmology residency and a glaucoma fellowship at the University of Florida. He joined Eye Surgery Associates in 2000 and practices in South Florida.
