About Me
Dr. Gregg Kokame has been providing specialized care for retinal diseases in Hawaii since 1988. He completed his training at leading institutions, including a vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, and is dedicated to offering the most advanced surgical care to patients in Hawaii and from around the world. He is committed to bringing cutting-edge retinal treatments to the local community.
He serves as a Clinical Professor at the University of Hawaii School of Medicine and is actively involved in research, having authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications. His research programs have helped introduce leading treatments to Hawaii over the past 15 years. Dr. Kokame is a member of several professional societies, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialists.
