About Me
Dr. Golnaz Javey is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in vitreoretinal diseases and surgery. She earned her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School and completed her ophthalmology residency at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Javey then pursued advanced fellowship training in vitreoretinal diseases at the prestigious Bascom Palmer Eye Institute and Baylor College of Medicine.
Dr. Javey's clinical expertise includes the diagnosis and management of conditions such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, floaters, retinal detachment, and retinal vascular disease. She performs advanced vitreoretinal surgery utilizing the latest techniques to treat these and other complex retinal disorders. Dr. Javey is an active member of several professional societies, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialists.
With over a decade and a half of experience, Dr. Javey has been practicing medicine since 2005. She is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care and stays at the forefront of retinal care through her involvement in research and presentations at national meetings.
