Dr. Ghulam Dastgir

Ghulam Dastgir, MD, is a board-certified Ophthalmologist specializing in cornea and external disease. Fluent in multiple languages, including Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu, and Spanish, Dr. Dastgir brings a diverse and inclusive approach to patient care.

Dr. Dastgir completed his undergraduate studies at Brooklyn College, earning a B.A. He then pursued his medical degree at the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center. His commitment to comprehensive medical training is evident in his internship at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center in the Department of Pediatrics, followed by a residency in the Department of Ophthalmology at the same institution. Dr. Dastgir further honed his expertise through a fellowship at Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital.
