Dr. Liwu Chen

Dr. Liwu (Grace) Chen is a respected cornea specialist and ophthalmologist with extensive clinical and educational experience. She currently practices at Liwu Chen MD PC in Elmhurst, New York, and serves as an Associate Attending Surgeon at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai.

Dr. Chen completed her medical education at Georgetown University School of Medicine after earning a bachelor's degree in biology from Cornell University. She further trained with a preliminary medicine internship at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, an ophthalmology residency at New York University School of Medicine/Manhattan Eye Ear Throat Hospital, and a fellowship in cornea and external diseases at The Wills Eye Hospital.
