About Me
Dr. Escaravage is a board-certified ophthalmologist and ASOPRS fellowship-trained oculoplastic surgeon with specialized expertise in managing conditions of the eyelids, surrounding face, tear drainage system, and eye socket. He provides care for patients of all ages, addressing both medical and cosmetic concerns. His clinical interests include drooping eyelids (ptosis), eyelid malpositions, uncontrolled tearing, tumors of the eyelid and eye socket, facial spastic disorders, and Graves' thyroid eye disease. Dr. Escaravage also offers cosmetic procedures such as eyelid rejuvenation, facial laser treatments, dermal fillers, and Botox.
Dr. Escaravage attended Davidson College, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He earned his medical degree with Distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine. He completed an internal medicine internship at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, followed by residency and an ASOPRS fellowship in oculoplastic surgery at UNC-Chapel Hill, where he served as Chief Resident. He currently holds a faculty appointment as a Voluntary Clinical Assistant Professor at UNC-Chapel Hill.
