About Me
Dr. Gary S. Schwartz is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who practices at Associated Eye Care, serving patients in Woodbury, Hudson, New Richmond, and Stillwater. He devotes most of his surgical time to cataract surgery and also offers LASIK. Dr. Schwartz earned his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine and completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Minnesota. He later earned a Master in Healthcare Administration from the University of Minnesota.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Schwartz serves as an Adjunct Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Minnesota, where he has received teaching awards. He has authored two books, 'The Eye Exam' and 'Around the Eye in 365 Days.' Dr. Schwartz has held leadership roles including serving on the Board of Trustees of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and as president of the Minnesota Academy of Ophthalmology. He has been recognized as a Top Doctor by Mpls.St.Paul Magazine annually since 2016.
