Dr. Gary Lissner is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in oculoplastics and orbital surgery at Northwestern Medicine. He has a particular interest in conditions affecting the eyelids, tear ducts, and orbit (the bony socket around the eye). Dr. Lissner treats patients for a wide range of issues including drooping eyelids (ptosis), eyelid malposition, eyelid tumors and lesions, orbital fractures, and orbital tumors. He also offers cosmetic procedures such as botox and filler injections and cosmetic eyelid surgery. Additionally, he manages medical conditions like Graves’ disease that affect the eyes and addresses problems like tearing, styes, and twitching eyelids.
