Meet Dr. Preeti Joseph Thyparampil

Dr. Preeti J. Thyparampil is an ophthalmologist who specializes in ophthalmic plastic, orbital, and reconstructive surgery. She evaluates and treats conditions of the eyelids, tear drainage system, and orbit, including eyelid abnormalities, eyelid tumors and lesions, and orbital disorders. Dr. Thyparampil offers functional and cosmetic options such as eyelid surgery, nasolacrimal surgery, orbital decompression, orbital fracture repair, and Botox and dermal filler injections when appropriate.

She earned her medical degree from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and completed internship training at New York-Presbyterian/Queens. She then completed ophthalmology residency and fellowship training at Baylor College of Medicine/Cullen Eye Institute. Dr. Thyparampil is board certified in ophthalmology and serves as an Associate Professor at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
