Dr. Gail Bernard

Dr. Gail Bernard is an ophthalmologist providing comprehensive eye care at Rapid City Medical Center. She completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Colorado in 2000 and has been serving the Rapid City community since joining the practice. A native of South Dakota, she offers personalized care to patients.

She treats a wide range of eye conditions, with special interests in cataract surgery, glaucoma, and eyelid disorders. Her expertise includes surgical management of cataracts, medical and surgical treatment of glaucoma, and diagnosis and treatment of various eyelid conditions. Dr. Bernard is dedicated to preserving and improving vision through patient education and collaborative care. She provides routine eye exams as well as specialized management of ocular diseases.
