Dr. Florence Cabot

Dr. Florence Cabot is a cornea, cataract, and refractive surgeon who welcomes adults of all ages to her Miami clinic. A faculty member at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, she offers comprehensive care for cataracts and intraocular lenses, laser vision correction, and complex corneal disease. Dr. Cabot performs corneal transplant surgery and collagen crosslinking for keratoconus, and treats infectious and inflammatory conditions of the ocular surface. Her approach blends clear communication, thoughtful counseling, and evidence-based care so each patient understands their options and feels confident at every step.Dr. Cabot’s training includes a fellowship in Cornea & External Disease at Bascom Palmer. She previously completed fellowship and residency in ophthalmology in France and attended medical school in Toulouse. Her research interests include OCT imaging of the anterior segment, accommodation/presbyopia, and tele-ophthalmology, areas that continue to inform her clinical practice. She provides care in English and French and is committed to personalized surgical planning that matches each patient’s goals for clarity and comfort.
