Dr. Faheem Ahmed

Dr. Felix Kung is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who provides general eye care for adults, including medical and surgical management of common eye conditions. Born and raised in Warren, New Jersey, he completed his undergraduate studies in Computer Science at Duke University. He then earned his medical degree from the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota, and went on to complete his ophthalmology residency at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital / Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC. Dr. Kung offers routine eye examinations, diabetic eye evaluations, cataract surgery, glaucoma care, and treatment for dry eye disease. He takes time to explain diagnoses and treatment options in clear language so that patients feel informed and empowered in managing their eye health. Dr. Amritha Sundaresan is a comprehensive ophthalmologist and cataract surgeon who cares for adults of all ages in Falls Church, Virginia. She evaluates and treats patients with routine and complex cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, age-related macular degeneration and many other common eye conditions. Dr. Sundaresan completed the highly competitive combined Rice University and Baylor College of Medicine eight-year medical program, graduating summa cum laude from Rice and earning her medical degree from Baylor. She then completed her ophthalmology residency at Washington University School of Medicine at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, where she was recognized as one of the strongest surgeons in her program. In addition to her clinical work, she has authored scientific articles and presented research at national and international ophthalmology meetings. Dr. Sundaresan enjoys working closely with each patient to explain findings, answer questions and build a treatment plan tailored to their goals. She is proficient in Spanish and conversational in Telugu, which helps her connect with patients from diverse backgrounds.

Dr. Richard Morgan is a comprehensive ophthalmologist, glaucoma specialist, and cataract surgeon at Schefkind Eye. He blends high-precision surgical skill with a warm, collaborative style to help patients restore both vision and confidence. His clinical practice spans refractive cataract surgery with premium intraocular lenses, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), and cosmetic oculoplastic services. For eyelid concerns, he offers surgical correction of drooping lids as well as nonsurgical rejuvenation, including CO2 laser resurfacing, Botox®, and dermal fillers. Dr. Morgan completed his ophthalmology residency at Duke University Hospital. He earned an MD–PhD from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and Charles R. Drew University, holds a PhD in pharmacology, and later completed a master’s in biotechnology at Johns Hopkins. His research has been published in peer-reviewed journals and recognized with NIH-supported awards.
