Dr. Erik Happ

Dr. Erik M. Happ is an oculoplastic surgeon at Carolina Eyecare Physicians, specializing in facial aesthetics, cosmetic and reconstructive eyelid surgery, and orbital surgery. He addresses a wide range of conditions including droopy eyelids (ptosis), inward- or outward-turning eyelids (entropion/ectropion), blocked tear ducts, and blepharospasm. He also treats thyroid eye disease and offers facial cosmetic procedures such as blepharoplasty, Botox, dermal fillers, and skin resurfacing.

Dr. Happ completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where he served as chief resident, and pursued advanced fellowship training in neuro-ophthalmic, oculoplastic, and orbital surgery at Allegheny General Hospital. He previously served as Director of Neuro-ophthalmic Trauma and Department Chairman of Ophthalmology at Allegheny Health Network. Dr. Happ now provides state-of-the-art facial plastic surgical care in the Charleston area.
