About Me
Dr. Eric Zuckerman is a board-certified ophthalmologist with over 39 years of experience in diagnosing and treating eye diseases. He provides comprehensive eye care to patients in the Livonia community, with a particular focus on cataract and lens implant procedures, having performed over 13,000 such surgeries. His expertise extends to the management of common eye conditions including glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and age-related macular degeneration.
Dr. Zuckerman is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology, and is a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons and the Michigan Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons. He previously served as Residency Program Director in Ophthalmology at Botsford Hospital for 10 years, contributing to the training of future ophthalmologists.
Committed to patient-centered care, Dr. Zuckerman strives to diagnose and treat each patient’s unique needs with skill and compassion. Outside of his practice, he enjoys golf and has been practicing yoga since 1999.
