Dr. Emil Moshedi

Dr. Emil P. Moshedi is a board-certified ophthalmologist serving patients at Moshedi Eye Center in Lanham, Maryland. He provides comprehensive eye care with expertise in cataracts, glaucoma, and diabetic eye care. Dr. Moshedi is dedicated to delivering attentive, individualized care to each patient from the first appointment through follow-up visits.

Born and raised in the Washington, D.C. area, Dr. Moshedi earned his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He completed an internship at George Washington University and a residency in ophthalmology at Nassau University Medical Center. During his training, Dr. Moshedi conducted research at the National Eye Institute of the National Institutes of Health and received a National Research Service Award. He also holds a patent for a vascular occlusion inhibiting composition.

Dr. Moshedi founded Moshedi Eye Center in 1997 and has been serving residents of Prince George’s County and surrounding areas. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and has been recognized as a Top Doctor by Castle Connolly.
