Dr. Eli Pratte

Dr. Eli Pratte is an ophthalmology resident in St. Louis who enjoys caring for patients with a wide range of eye concerns, from routine vision changes to urgent problems. In clinic, he takes time to listen, review test results in plain language, and explain next steps so patients leave with a clear plan. He values teamwork and partners with attending surgeons and staff to deliver safe, coordinated care and a comfortable experience.

Dr. Pratte completed medical school at the University of Missouri in Columbia, followed by a preliminary internal medicine year at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. He is training in ophthalmology at Washington University’s John F. Hardesty Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences. His clinical interests include cataract evaluation, glaucoma screening and treatment, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, dry eye, and corneal conditions. Patients appreciate his calm demeanor, attention to detail, and commitment to education throughout the visit.
