About Me
Dr. Donald McCormack is an ophthalmologist who joined Boulder Medical Center in 1993 and specializes in comprehensive eye and vision care. He diagnoses and treats all eye diseases, prescribes eyeglasses and contact lenses to correct vision problems, and performs a wide range of clinical procedures and eye surgeries. For more than 20 years, Dr. McCormack has been actively involved in clinical research investigating new treatments for glaucoma and dry eye disease.
Dr. McCormack treats patients of all ages, from newborns to older adults, for a wide range of eye conditions. He has special interests in dry eyes and glaucoma and performs laser surgery for glaucoma and retinal disease. He values the opportunity to directly visualize the eye, which can also reveal signs of systemic conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and certain rheumatologic and neurologic diseases.
Board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, Dr. McCormack is a member of professional organizations including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Boulder County Medical Society, and Colorado Medical Society.
