About Me
Dr. Diana Leitner is a fellowship-trained medical retina specialist and vitreoretinal surgeon who provides both office-based and surgical care for diseases of the retina and vitreous. She works closely with patients to protect vision through careful monitoring, timely treatment, and clear guidance about what to expect at each step.
Dr. Leitner earned her medical degree from the University of Kansas after graduating from Oberlin College. She completed ophthalmology residency at Geisinger Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident, and then completed fellowship training in Medical Retina at Duke Medical Center as well as vitreoretinal surgery fellowship training at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Medical Center. Her care includes management of complex retinal conditions such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular occlusions, retinal detachments, and uveitis.
