Dr. Debra Firestone

Dr. Firestone is an ophthalmologist who has been practicing at The Eye Center since 2000. She provides comprehensive eye care, managing conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease. She also offers routine eye care to patients.

Dr. Firestone specializes in cataract surgery, performing small incision no stitch procedures with and without the LenSx laser system. She has extensive experience with premium intraocular lenses, including astigmatism correcting and multifocal implants.

Board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, Dr. Firestone remains active in education as a clinical instructor at Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School, where she teaches residents cataract surgery techniques.
