Dr. Deborah Alexander

Dr. Deborah Alexander is an ophthalmologist specializing in glaucoma, comprehensive eye care, cornea, and dry eye. She provides medical and surgical treatment for a range of eye conditions, with a particular focus on glaucoma management. Her expertise includes the management of glaucoma, corneal diseases, and dry eye syndrome. Dr. Alexander sees patients at multiple Thurmond Eye locations in the Rio Grande Valley, including Weslaco, Harlingen, Mission, and Edinburg.

Dr. Alexander earned her medical degree and completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She then pursued advanced fellowship training in glaucoma at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Harvard Medical School. She is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
