About Me
Dr. Dean Bonsall is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He treats a range of eye conditions in children, including strabismus (crossed eyes), amblyopia (lazy eye), and retinopathy of prematurity. He also manages ocular motility disorders and conditions related to shaken baby syndrome.
Dr. Bonsall completed his medical degree at Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, followed by an internship in internal medicine, residency in ophthalmology at Georgetown University, and a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus at the University of Southern California. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and serves as a professor in both the Ophthalmology and Pediatrics departments.
