About Me
Dr. Sandra M. Brown is an ophthalmologist at Cabarrus Eye Center. She specializes in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus, providing comprehensive eye care for children and adults with eye alignment disorders. Her expertise also includes neuro-ophthalmology, addressing vision issues related to neurological conditions, and forensic ophthalmology. Dr.
Brown serves as a medical advisor for the Dry Eye Foundation, reflecting her interest in dry eye syndrome. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California at Berkeley with highest distinction, earned her medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School with distinction, and completed her residency at Northwestern. She pursued a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus at the Kellogg Eye Center, University of Michigan. Dr. Brown is a diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology and has been practicing at Cabarrus Eye Center since 2005. Born and raised in Northern California, she brings a diverse background to her practice.
