About Me
Dr. Dean Eliott is a Professor of Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School and a senior figure at Mass Eye and Ear, where he serves as Director Emeritus of the Retina Service. He also co-directs the Diabetic Eye Disease Center of Excellence and directs the Vitreoretinal Surgery Fellowship, reflecting his deep expertise in retinal and vitreous disorders.
Patients with age-related macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and other vitreoretinal conditions can expect advanced medical and surgical care from Dr. Eliott. His clinical focus also encompasses vision rehabilitation for those with low vision, and he is involved in research into regenerative medicine for the eye. Dr. Eliott holds the Stelios Evangelos Gragoudas Professorship and is a dedicated educator of future ophthalmologists.
