Dr. David Kim

Dr. David Y. Kim is a retina specialist and vitreoretinal surgeon at NJRetina, where he has been practicing since 2013. He provides comprehensive care for retinal conditions, including macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy, utilizing advanced surgical techniques and treatments such as vitrectomy, laser procedures, and intraocular injections. His practice focuses on vitreoretinal disease and surgery, offering both medical and surgical management for complex retinal disorders.

Dr. Kim completed his residency in ophthalmology at New York Hospital / Weill Medical College of Cornell University and a fellowship in vitreoretinal disease and surgery at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary / Harvard Medical School. He maintains a strong commitment to research and education, having published numerous articles and participated in FDA-sponsored clinical trials for new retinal treatments. Dr. Kim also serves on the medical staff of Hackensack University Medical Center and Clara Maass Medical Center.
