About Me
Dr. Rony Gelman is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in the medical and surgical care of complex vitreoretinal diseases. He has advanced fellowship training in retina and vitreous conditions, with a focus on age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and retinal detachments. Dr. Gelman's expertise includes both medical and surgical retina care, allowing him to provide comprehensive treatment for a wide range of retinal conditions.
Dr. Gelman completed his ophthalmology residency at the Harkness Eye Institute of Columbia University, where he also completed a medical retina fellowship in inherited retinal degenerations through a Foundation Fighting Blindness Clinical/Research Fellowship Career Development Award. He then pursued further medical and surgical vitreoretinal fellowship training at the University of Southern California. This world-class training enables him to offer the latest advancements in retinal care.
