Dr. David Kielar

Dr. David R. Kielar is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Lexington Clinic, where he provides comprehensive eye care at Lexington Clinic East. He offers routine eye exams, along with specialized services including ocular and orbital ultrasound imaging and visual field testing. Dr. Kielar has a particular interest in the diagnosis and management of glaucoma and diabetic eye disease, and he also treats dry eye syndrome.

Dr. Kielar completed his ophthalmology residency and chief residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, following a transitional internship at the same institution. He earned his medical degree from the University of Kentucky School of Medicine. With a fellowship in medical student pathology from the University of Kentucky, Dr. Kielar brings a thorough understanding of eye health to his practice. He has been affiliated with Lexington Clinic since 1998.
