Dr. Matthew Fry

Matthew Fry, MD, is a vitreoretinal fellow at the University of Missouri–Kansas City training with the team at Sabates Eye Centers. He provides medical and surgical care for retinal conditions and enjoys partnering with patients to protect and restore sight. Dr. Fry is especially drawn to the blend of advanced imaging, clinic-based treatments, and microsurgery that retina care requires, and he approaches each visit with patience, education, and practical next steps. Originally from Ohio, Dr. Fry completed his undergraduate and medical training at the University of Cincinnati, where he also finished ophthalmology residency. He is grateful to serve patients in Kansas City while continuing subspecialty training in vitreoretinal disease and surgery.
