Dr. David Chacko

Dr. David M. Chacko is a vitreous and retina specialist who provides comprehensive medical and surgical care for a range of retinal conditions. He treats patients with age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and retinal detachments, and performs emergency surgery for retinal detachments. Dr. Chacko also offers diabetic eye care to help manage and prevent vision loss from diabetes.

As a partner at Grene Vision Group, Dr. Chacko brings extensive experience from his previous role as a professor of ophthalmology at the University of Nebraska, where he conducted research on diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration. His approach to care blends clinical expertise with a deep commitment to his patients, listening to their stories and providing personalized treatment.

Dr. Chacko provides care at multiple Grene Vision Group eye care centers in the Wichita area. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys fishing, golfing, and traveling with his family.
