About Me
Dr. David Rogers is a pediatric ophthalmologist at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He serves as Chief of the Department of Ophthalmology and is the Pediatric Ophthalmology Fellowship Director. Dr. Rogers treats a wide range of pediatric eye conditions, with a special focus on strabismus (eye misalignment), retinopathy of prematurity, intracranial hypertension, and Batten disease.
Dr. Rogers is actively involved in research and has led the Pediatric Intracranial Hypertension Clinic since co-founding it in 2010. He participates in multi-center clinical trials on conditions such as retinopathy of prematurity, strabismus, amblyopia, myopia, and optic neuritis. His research contributions have been published widely and presented internationally.
Committed to education, Dr. Rogers trains ophthalmology residents and fellows. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and holds memberships in several professional organizations including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus.
