Dr. David Barnes

Dr. David Barnes is an ophthalmologist who earned his medical degree from LSU Medical Center in Shreveport. He completed his internship at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans and his ophthalmology residency at Louisiana State University Health Shreveport.

Dr. Barnes is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Louisiana Academy of Eye Physicians & Surgeons, and the American Medical Association. He specializes in a wide range of eye diseases and surgeries, including LASIK and Intralase surgery, no-stitch and bladeless cataract surgery, corneal disease, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and retinal disease. He also performs cosmetic oculoplastic surgery. Dr. Barnes provides comprehensive eye care, including eye exams, fitting of glasses and contact lenses, and treatment of various eye diseases.
