About Me
Dr. Daniel J. Lee is a board-certified ophthalmologist who was named one of Portland’s Top Doctors in 2026 by Portland Monthly Magazine. He is a fellowship-trained cornea specialist and comprehensive ophthalmologist, offering expertise in cataract surgery, corneal transplantation, and laser vision correction.
His practice includes routine and complex cataract surgery, corneal transplantation (including full and partial thickness procedures such as PKP, DALK, DSEK, and DMEK), laser vision correction (LASIK and PRK), pterygium excision, management of dislocating intraocular lenses, and anterior segment reconstruction after eye trauma. He also provides advanced lens options for cataract surgery, including toric, multifocal, and light adjustable lenses.
Dr. Lee completed his medical school training in Wisconsin, followed by an internship in Chicago and residency at OHSU in Portland. He then stayed at OHSU to complete a fellowship in cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery. He volunteers with the Oregon Lions Sight & Hearing Foundation and provides free cataract surgery to underserved patients in the Portland area.
