About Me
Dr. Daniel Tu is an ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive eye care for adults. He earned both his M.D. and Ph.D. in neuroscience from Washington University School of Medicine, where he researched non-visual photoreception. After completing his internship, he moved to Portland for his ophthalmology residency at the Casey Eye Institute, OHSU.
Dr. Tu's clinical practice focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of eye conditions, including cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and glaucoma. He holds the Laura J. Spear Endowed Professor for Casey Eye Institute Residency Education and serves as an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at the OHSU School of Medicine. Much of his time is dedicated to teaching ophthalmology residents at the Casey Eye Institute and the Portland VA Medical Center. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, watching movies, and reading.
