Dr. Daniel Weikert

Dr. Daniel Weikert is a board-certified ophthalmologist with over 30 years of experience in providing comprehensive eye care. In addition to his clinical practice, he serves as the team ophthalmologist for the Tennessee Titans and has been with the Nashville Predators for 20 years. Dr. Weikert is dedicated to helping patients maintain and improve their vision through medical eye exams and advanced surgical treatments.

His clinical expertise includes the diagnosis and management of cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease. Dr. Weikert has performed more than 30,000 surgeries, including standard and laser-assisted cataract surgery, refractive intraocular lens implantation with multifocal lenses, and dropless cataract surgery. He returns to private practice with offices in Franklin, Spring Hill, Dickson, and Murfreesboro, bringing his extensive surgical experience to the region.

Dr. Weikert earned his bachelor's degree from Indiana University and his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, where he also completed his residency. He is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
