Dr. Daniel Hammer

Daniel J. Hammer, MD is a fellowship-trained glaucoma subspecialist and cataract surgeon who sees patients at the Montgomery office and performs surgery at CVP Blue Ash and Mercy West. He is also affiliated with TriHealth hospitals and the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

It is Dr. Hammer’s goal to provide compassionate, individualized care for his patients by employing state-of-the-art methods in diagnosis and treatment. There are now many options available for the management of glaucoma and cataracts, and it is Dr. Hammer’s goal to find the best strategy for each patient’s unique situation.

Dr Hammer gives back to the ophthalmology community as a Volunteer Instructor with the University of Cincinnati and as a clinical mentor for the CEI Glaucoma Fellow. He was born and raised in Cincinnati and is now raising a family of his own here.
