Dr. Daniel Chang

Dr. Daniel H. Chang is a board-certified ophthalmologist and vision correction specialist at Empire Eye and Laser Center in Bakersfield. He has performed thousands of successful LASIK, PRK, cataract, and corneal procedures. His surgical expertise covers a wide range of vision correction options, including advanced intraocular lens implants, and he has been involved in dozens of FDA clinical trials to bring new vision correction technologies to patients.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Chang serves as Managing Partner at Empire Eye and Laser Center and Medical Director of Empire Surgery Center. He is also a volunteer surgeon and founding member of a non-profit clinic that provides medical and surgical eye care to the underserved in Central California. Dr. Chang has contributed to the field through research, presentations, and leadership roles in professional organizations.
