Dr. Dana Chan

Dr. Dana Chan is a Scripps Clinic ophthalmologist who treats a wide range of eye and vision conditions. She specializes in cataract surgery with premium intraocular lenses, laser surgery, and pterygium surgery. Her clinical interests also include diabetic retinal screening, the diagnosis and management of glaucoma, minor lid procedures, and dry eyes.

Dr. Chan has been practicing medicine since 2010 and is committed to treating patients with compassion while maintaining clear communication. She aims to build strong relationships with her patients, working together to decide on treatment plans and utilizing the latest technology when appropriate. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

When not caring for patients, Dr. Chan enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, traveling, reading, cooking, and gardening.
