Dr. Craig Thiessen

Dr. Gregory Bligard is an ophthalmology resident physician at Washington University in St. Louis, where he serves as Chief of Ophthalmic Trauma. With an MD/PhD from Washington University and a background in biomedical research, he brings scientific rigor and calm, hands-on focus to urgent eye care and comprehensive clinic visits. In the hospital and clinic, Dr. Bligard evaluates eye injuries, cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease and other common conditions, and coordinates surgical care with subspecialty teams when needed. Patients value his clear communication and steady bedside manner during stressful situations. He is committed to teaching and evidence-based practice, translating new research into everyday care while ensuring each patient understands their diagnosis and options.

Dr. David Nasrazadani is a comprehensive ophthalmologist with experience in oculoplastics, medical retina, and the management of mild to moderate glaucoma. He provides thorough eye examinations, explains findings in easy-to-understand terms, and tailors care plans that may include medications, in-office procedures, or referral for subspecialty surgery when needed. After graduating from Emporia State University, he earned his medical degree at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, served as a clinical research coordinator at Duke Eye Center, and completed ophthalmology residency training at the University of Kansas. At Mattax Neu Prater Eye Center, Dr. Nasrazadani works within a team of surgical and medical eye-care professionals to deliver coordinated care across cataract, oculoplastic, and retina services. He enjoys partnering with patients and their primary eye-care providers to protect vision and maintain comfortable, healthy eyes.

Dr. Dustin McKnight is a board-certified ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive eye care, with special interests in advanced cataract surgery, laser vision correction, and medical retina care. He focuses on matching each patient’s goals with the right diagnostic testing and treatment plan, and he takes time to explain options in clear, practical terms. Originally from Liberty, Missouri, Dr. McKnight earned his B.S. in Biology and his medical degree at the University of Missouri in Columbia, then completed his ophthalmology residency there. In addition to helping patients improve vision after cataracts or reduce dependence on glasses, he evaluates and treats a wide range of eye conditions affecting the cornea, lens, retina, and optic nerve, with an emphasis on long-term eye health and comfort.
