About Me
Dr. Cooper Rodgers is an ophthalmologist who has deep roots in the Kansas City area, having grown up there and attended Blue Valley North High School. He pursued his undergraduate education at the University of Florida on a National Merit scholarship, graduating summa cum laude with a degree in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology. Dr. Rodgers then returned to Kansas City to study medicine at the University of Kansas, where his academic excellence led to his induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.
During his medical training, Dr. Rodgers developed a passion for ophthalmology through research in glaucoma and witnessing the transformative impact of eye surgery on patients' lives. He completed a rigorous internship at the University of Florida Shands Hospital, providing critical care during the COVID-19 pandemic. His ophthalmology residency at the University of Florida included caring for US Veterans and serving as a refractive surgeon for active military personnel at the Naval Air Station in Jacksonville.

He also manages a broad range of eye conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and droopy eyelids.
