Dr. Clara Castillejo Becerra is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist committed to providing exceptional and compassionate eye care. She treats patients with a wide range of medical and surgical eye conditions, including cataracts, dry eye, diabetic retinopathy, droopy eyelids, and macular degeneration. Her approach is rooted in a dedication to both clinical excellence and empathetic patient communication.

Dr. Castillejo completed her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, and earned a Master of Science degree at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She is originally from Lima, Peru and is fluent in both English and Spanish. Her commitment to patient-centered care was recognized during medical school with the Dean’s Scholarship and induction into the Gold Humanism Honor Society.
