Dr. Christina Chang

Dr. Christina Chang is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist at Virginia Eye Center in Lansdowne, Virginia. She is skilled in both standard and laser-assisted cataract surgery and has special expertise in secondary intraocular lens implantation, traumatic cataracts, iris repair, and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery. Patients value her thoughtful bedside manner and the way she tailors surgical plans to match each person’s visual goals and lifestyle.

Dr. Chang earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia and her medical degree from Georgetown University. She completed an internship at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, followed by ophthalmology residency at the Storm Eye Institute of the Medical University of South Carolina. During training, she received recognition for surgical excellence, her commitment to mentoring, and her embodiment of the qualities patients look for in a trusted physician.
