About Me
Dr. David Richardson is an ophthalmologist at Hattiesburg Eye Clinic, serving patients in Hattiesburg, Laurel, and Columbia, Mississippi. A native of Philadelphia, Mississippi, Dr. Richardson earned his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine, completed an internship at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, and finished his ophthalmology residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and has been providing care since joining Hattiesburg Eye Clinic in 1986.
Dr. Richardson offers comprehensive eye care, including routine eye exams, glasses and contact lens fittings, and advanced surgical treatments. His surgical expertise includes no-stitch cataract surgery, laser-assisted cataract surgery with the CATALYS system, and blade-free iLASIK.
