About Me
Dr. Chad Zatezalo is a board-certified oculofacial plastic surgeon and ophthalmologist who focuses exclusively on plastic, reconstructive, and cosmetic surgery of the eyelids, surrounding tissue, and upper face. He is a fellow of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastics and Reconstructive Surgeons and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. His highly specialized training in both oculofacial plastics and ophthalmology allows him to understand the importance of the functional aspect of the eyelid and upper face while performing cosmetic surgery.
As a well-rounded oculoplastic surgeon, Dr. Zatezalo's scope of practice includes facial cosmetic surgery, reconstructive and revisional surgery, lacrimal or tearing disorders, orbital and ocular oncology, anophthalmic sockets, and inflammatory disorders of the eyelid, eye, and orbit. He emphasizes evaluating the health of the eye and optimizing ocular health before scheduling any surgical procedure to avoid severe complications. Dr. Zatezalo also offers revisional surgery for patients who are unhappy with previous outcomes, utilizing both nonsurgical and surgical methods to improve their condition.
With over 10 years of experience in oculofacial plastics, Dr. Zatezalo is committed to customizing results to achieve a natural, youthful appearance for each patient. He has published a clinical trial on eyelid surgery techniques and has been invited to lecture nationally and internationally on various topics.
