Dr. Marielle Mahan

Dr. Marielle Mahan is a fellowship-trained oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgeon who specializes in cosmetic and functional eyelid surgery, tear duct and orbital surgery, facial reconstruction, and non-surgical aesthetic treatments. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care that is tailored to each individual's unique needs and goals.

She earned her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed her ophthalmology residency at MedStar Georgetown University/Washington Hospital Center. Dr. Mahan further honed her skills through a competitive fellowship in Oculofacial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Casey Eye Institute, Oregon Health & Science University. Board-certified by the American Academy of Ophthalmology, she has authored numerous publications and presented her research nationally. Her expertise extends to eyelid and brow surgery, reconstruction after skin cancer, orbital tumors and trauma, and minimally invasive procedures like Botox and dermal fillers.

Outside of her clinical practice, Dr. Mahan is an accomplished artist who enjoys drawing and traveling, which informs her artistic precision and attention to detail in restoring both function and appearance for her patients.
