About Me
Dr. Cecilia S. Lee is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in retina disease. She provides comprehensive medical and surgical retina care, treating conditions such as age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and cataracts. Dr. Lee also manages complex uveitis cases and other retinal disorders.
Dr. Lee completed her medical degree and ophthalmology residency at Emory University School of Medicine, followed by fellowships in medical retina at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London and in uveitis at Washington University. She also holds a Master's degree in Epidemiology from the University of Washington School of Public Health. Her research focuses on big data, clinical epidemiology, oculomics, Alzheimer's disease, and artificial intelligence.
Dr. Lee sees patients at the Center for Advanced Medicine – South County in St. Louis and is affiliated with Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital. She is fluent in English, Korean, and Spanish.
