Dr. Carole Young

Dr. Carole M. Young is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has been providing eye care at Coastal Eye Group in Georgetown, South Carolina since 1987. She completed her ophthalmology residency at the Medical College of Virginia, where she served as chief resident, and earned her medical degree from the University of Texas.

Dr. Young practices general ophthalmology and offers a range of surgical and medical treatments for eye conditions. She performs cataract surgery, glaucoma surgery, and muscle surgery for strabismus (crossed eyes). She also provides laser treatments for glaucoma and diabetic eye disease, as well as medical management of glaucoma and comprehensive eye exams.
