Dr. Brock Bakewell

Dr. Brock K. Bakewell is a board-certified ophthalmologist and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons practicing at Eye Associates of Tucson. He specializes in small-incision premium cataract surgery and refractive surgery, offering treatments such as LASIK and advanced surface ablation. With over three decades of experience, he utilizes advanced lens implants including monofocal, toric, multifocal, and extended depth of focus lenses, as well as the Light Adjustable Lens and IC-8 Apthera lens.

Dr. Bakewell completed a fellowship in anterior segment eye disease at the University of Utah, concentrating on corneal disease and glaucoma. He is actively involved in clinical research for new lens implants and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGs). Although not his current practice focus, he has significant experience in corneal transplantation procedures such as DMEK, DSAEK, and DALK.
