Brian R. Harrow, MD, is a comprehensive ophthalmologist and cataract surgeon at Ophthalmic Consultants of the Capital Region. He provides medical and surgical care for common and complex eye conditions and is passionate about the life-changing impact of modern cataract surgery. In addition to cataracts, he diagnoses and treats glaucoma, dry eye, and corneal and retinal disorders, coordinating care with subspecialists when needed. Patients value his clear explanations and thoughtful guidance when choosing the lens and procedure that best match their visual needs. Dr. Harrow received his medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical Center. He completed an internal medicine internship and an ophthalmology residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center. He has also pursued additional post-graduate training at Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital in Chennai, India, and with Acuity Eye Group in Los Angeles. Before relocating to New York, he practiced in California and North Carolina.
