Dr. Brian Jerkins

Dr. Brian Jerkins is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in medical and surgical glaucoma. He provides comprehensive care for patients with glaucoma, focusing on both medication-based treatments and advanced surgical options to manage the condition and preserve vision.

Dr. Jerkins completed his undergraduate education at Lipscomb University before earning his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. He underwent ophthalmology residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center Hamilton Eye Institute and further specialized through a glaucoma fellowship at LSU/Ochsner Clinical Foundation in New Orleans.

With experience as an assistant professor at the Hamilton Eye Institute and clinical practice at Memphis Eye and Cataract Associates, Dr. Jerkins is dedicated to glaucoma care. He maintains active membership in professional organizations including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Glaucoma Society.
